Saved this one because a) had to to carefully time the cuteness as it could be overwhelming, and b) gave them time to be adopted first. [They have been, btw!] So to celebrate a much needed TGIF here is some delish puppy adorableness to help you kick off the weekend. These babies came through Homeless Pets Foundation and are now with their new owners. So thankful to HPF and all the other rescues doing the tough work week in and week out. These hardworking organizations can use all the help they can get, so please adopt…..or if you can’t (it’s ok, we get it) foster, drop off supplies, or donate financially to the rescue of your choice. You CAN make a difference! Have a good weekend, everybody!⠀

Hope you and yours had a FAB time the last few days. There are really tough things happening in the news, but still so much to be thankful for. My plan is to keep an attitude of gratitude going through the holiday season and into the new year. It helps to have great people in your circle who are positive, give back, and just are all around nice humans. And have dogs, of course! Case in point: Alison, who is active in pet rescue and organizes a yearly event called Marietta Muttro Fashion Show. Loved this one from her recent shoot with her rescue dogs. ⠀

Everyone’s mind is on turkey and dressing this week, but another holiday is coming up right behind it. Just dropping a hinty hint that there may be some last minute holiday mini sessions being planned, by special request. So keep your ears peeled….. Meanwhile, the love bug in the photo above has been ADOPTED!! Woop, woop. This sweet gentle dog, rescued from a neglectful puppy mill situation, was fortunate enough to have a loving family overlook his poor eyesight and choose him. Could not be happier over that news.⠀

Recently I got the opportunity to combine two things I love:  Crossfit and dog portraits!!  My friends Vanessa and Dom work out at Crossfit Resurgens and have three cool rescue dogs.  So we met up at the Box to shoot some Crossfit themed photos.

For most of us this the position you’ll find us in immediately post WOD:  belly flop on the mat, tongue lolling.  Nice.

Why crawl out of the tire yourself when you can make your mom flip it for you?  Exactly.

Nobody said this puppy supermodel gig was easy! This furbaby was more interested in getting snuggles and giving kisses than posing for the camera, but he held on long enough for a few good shots. Outtake from Thor’s photos session Friday at Homeless Pets Foundation in Marietta. We took photos of him as well as a few of his other siblings….there are 8 puppies total, both boys and girls. Their mom Toni appears to be a Treeing Coonhound mix, about 60 lbs and a pretty, leggy dog. All the pups are now available for adoption!
