If you’ve been following me for any length of time you are aware that I donate my services to local rescues including Homeless Pets Foundation, Canine Cellmates, Orphan Annie Rescue, and private fosters and adoption scenarios. Most of the humans involved in these scenarios give SO MUCH, IMO more than me, to help connect these animals to people who will love them and provide forever homes. There are countless volunteers and fosters who make this happen, and I would be remiss without giving them their due. However, all is not easy or rosy in the land of adoption. You can get an AMAZING, AMAZING dogs through rescue, as I know personally since all my dogs have come from that source. There are things that need to be taken into consideration to help make the experience a positive one for both family and pet.
